Second only to Yours Truly Johnny Dollar, The Adventures of Sam Spade is one of my favorite classic radio detective programs. The best episodes feature Howard Duff as Sam, but this one features actor Stephen Dunne in the title role instead. Titled “The Terrified Turkey Caper” it hit the airwaves exactly 74 years ago today, September 24, 1950. Enjoy!
