If you know me, then you know I’m a proud pet parent! April 27 is National Pet Parent Day! My hubby and I have two perfectly imperfect dogs that are our four-legged children. Princess Bonnie Sue is an old lady now, but she rules our home as only a Princess can. Heidi Ho is younger, bigger and knows her place… which is a few steps behind Bonnie and whatever she orders us to do! Today I have an episode from Dragnet that might be a tad tough for some of us who are pet lovers because it involves a recluse whose beloved dog is poisoned. While the subject matter is difficult, the ending is one of redemption! Let’s sit back and listen to “The Big Dog” an episode of Dragnet from November 16, 1954.
