Frank Lovejoy is one of my favorite radio and early film actors. His voice was sometimes described as the “everyman” with a believable, down-to-earth quality. Today I have an episode of Nightbeat just in the time for the holidays where newspaper man Randy Stone find himself with “Five Days off for Christmas” which aired originally on December 21, 1951. Enjoy!
